Cherish the person in front of you, don’t wait until you lose it before you regret it

This is my mother story [2021] .

Day 1th

She is still in ICU and not awake yet but her condition is better than yesterday

Oxy level 92 Blood pressure 70/35 very low Dr says heart could stop anytime ... be prepared they said

Day 2th
Oxy level 97. Blood pressure 135/48 still low on the low side.

Day 3th
Oxy level same as yesterday. Blood pressure 150/80 with heart-boosting injection.
In a semi-conscious state only the eye is able to response when called as told by Dr Alia.

Day 4th
Oxy level droped to a very low level of 50/100. Blood pressure also droped to 80 / 40
Dr Mah said she is in very critical condition again ...

Dr said that is their method to help her. Her chance to recover is very low ... My alternative susgestion is to give her Stem Cell treatmemt to try to rejuvenate her lung tissue and they will forward it up for the head doctor decision as l am willing to pay for it at any cost . Her illness is called SLE autoimmune lupus where her own immune system attack all her own body organs .

Day 5th
Dr Redzuan called up to update me on the latest, as being the same like yesterday with down low and up again . Very worrisome but nothing much can be done.
A check with Sentosa Hospital spoken to one Dr and the Chief Nurse who advices that there could be no promises even if send over to them and their daily charges alone range from RM5,000 to RM10,000 per day which they said better continue stay at HKL CCU.

Day 6th
The Dermatological Dr Ling just called me to that they are changing to another new drug today and hopefully it will helps her to improve as there is no more option due to her very rare serious case.

Worst to worst if still no improve they will talk to me to let her go, as this is a very serious complicated drug with high side effects, which they normally use to treat cancer patients. Due to prolong insufficient oxygen, later it may also lead to multiple organs failure like the kidneys and many others too. After much indepth consideration I have to let them try on this final drug, as there is really no more choice or alternative.

Day 7th
Condition still remain like yesterday with low oxygen level at 89 currently. Blood pressure normal at 135 /50 to 60.
Yesterday new drug will takes one week to know the result with no promises depending on whether her body could response positively to the new drug or not.

Day 8th
Managed to contact Dr Adania on duty today who said her present reading is :- Oxy level 85 now down , her morning was 90. Blood pressure 125 / 60
Still fully sedated. She allow me to visit her at 4.00pm today. Will continue to propose to Dr on the semi sedation and to give her milk again ...

Day 9th
Dr KarYee just called me from GHKL CUU saying due to continue deterioting condition of my wife situation , we have no more alternative choice but to prepare for the very worst that she may leave us anytime ... despite that l have insisted on , to drage on , but with no promises as this is not the first time Dr (s) are telling me on this ( the fourth times to be precise ).

So my father have told her first younger brother to informed her second younger brother on this and they confirmed to come down from Malacca tomorrow morning around 8 to 9 am to have a look even in fully sedation state because doctor said no way they could put her in semi sedated as her system may fight with the oxygen ventilator. Dr could not know how long she could last or struggle on despite giving her all the maximum treatement but with no improvement with most of the time going down than going up as at present worsening condition.

Day 10th
A Sad Day. My mom passed away at 6.45 am
